Healthy nonstick coating
Unlike traditional nonstick pans, GreenPan’s ceramic coating contains no PFAS, PFOA, lead, or cadmium. Even if the pan gets overheated, it won’t release toxic fumes into your kitchen.
Easy to clean
Food doesn’t stick, which means cleanup takes seconds. A soft sponge and warm water are usually all you need — no harsh scrubbing or long soaking.
Built for everyday cooking
GreenPan pans handle high heat well and work on most stovetops. They’re oven safe too, so you can move straight from the stove to the oven without switching cookware.

About GreenPan
GreenPan started in Belgium in 2007 with a straightforward idea — that nonstick cookware didn’t have to rely on harmful chemicals to work well. At a time when most nonstick pans were made with PFAS and PFOA coatings, GreenPan took a different approach and introduced the world’s first ceramic nonstick cookware.
The coating they developed, called Thermolon, is made from sand-derived materials and contains none of the chemicals found in traditional nonstick surfaces — no PFAS, PFOA, lead, or cadmium. Even if a pan accidentally overheats, it won’t release toxic fumes, which was a real problem with older nonstick technology.
Over the years, GreenPan has grown into one of the most recognized names in healthy cookware, with a wide range of pans, skillets, griddles, and sets at different price points. The pans are designed for real everyday cooking — they work on all stovetop types including induction, hold up well in the oven, and clean up quickly without a lot of effort.
Beyond the kitchen, GreenPan has always kept an eye on its environmental footprint. The Thermolon coating process produces significantly less CO₂ compared to traditional nonstick manufacturing, and the brand continues to look for ways to make its products and production more sustainable.
Today, GreenPan is sold in homes across more than 50 countries, backed by The Cookware Company — one of the largest cookware manufacturers in the world.

FAQ
Yes. GreenPan’s ceramic nonstick coating is free from PFAS, PFOA, lead, and cadmium. Even if a pan gets overheated by accident, it won’t release the toxic fumes that older nonstick coatings are known for.
Most GreenPan cookware is dishwasher safe, but a quick hand wash with warm water and a soft sponge is usually all it takes. Avoid steel wool or abrasive scrubbers, as they can wear down the coating over time.
Not all GreenPan products are induction compatible, but many are — including the Valencia Pro and Hybrid collections. Check the product description or packaging to confirm before buying.
Most GreenPan cookware can go in the oven, though the maximum temperature varies by collection. The Valencia Pro handles up to 600°F, while the Hybrid line goes up to 850°F. Always check the specific product for its oven-safe limit.
With proper care — avoiding metal utensils, high heat, and abrasive cleaners — the ceramic nonstick coating holds up well for years. Using wooden, silicone, or plastic utensils will help extend the life of the coating.

Clients Thought
Customers consistently point to how easy the pans are to clean and how food doesn’t stick even with minimal oil — though some longer-term users note that taking care of the coating, like avoiding metal utensils and high heat, makes a real difference in how long it holds up.

I’ve had my GreenPan skillet for about two years now and it’s still performing just as well as the day I got it. Eggs slide right off without any butter, and cleanup takes maybe 30 seconds. I was skeptical about ceramic nonstick at first, but knowing there are no harmful chemicals in the coating made it an easy switch from my old pan. Honestly, I’d never go back.

I picked up the Valencia Pro set about a year ago and it’s held up really well. I cook pretty much every day — everything from scrambled eggs in the morning to searing chicken at night — and the pans still look and perform like new. The fact that they’re free from all those chemicals was the main reason I bought them, but the easy cleanup has been the biggest bonus in day-to-day use. Worth every penny.

I bought the GreenPan Rio skillet as a starter pan when I moved into my first apartment, not expecting much at that price point. Turns out it’s the best kitchen purchase I’ve made. Nothing sticks, it heats up evenly, and I barely use any oil anymore. A friend asked me about it after seeing it in my kitchen and ended up buying one the same week. Simple, reliable, and does exactly what a good pan should do.
